This course continues learning from Year 10 Health and Physical Education. Students will analyse a range of contemporary Health issues including drugs, alcohol and sexuality. Students will learn about strategies to improve well-being and will take action to improve their own well-being. There is also an emphasis on developing interpersonal skills and problem solving in relationships with others.

Demonstrate understanding of ways in which well-being can change and strategies to support well-being
Demonstrate understanding of strategies for promoting positive sexuality
Demonstrate understanding of interpersonal skills used to enhance relationships
External preparation for: Demonstrate understanding of issues to make health enhancing decisions in drug-related situations
