Course Description

Learning will focus on the analysis of a contemporary heath issue, aspects of sexuality and gender, and change management. Students will also research and implement health promotion projects that enhance the well-being of the school community. This course is well suited for students who have independent research skills and who can self-manage their own learning projects.

Term 1
This course is new in 2021. Learning will focus on the analysis of a contemporary heath issue of the student’s choice, issues relating to sexuality and gender, and change management. Students will also research and implement health promotion projects that enhance the well-being of the school community. This course is well suited for students who have independent research skills and who can self-manage their own learning projects.
Recommended Prior Learning
This course is aimed at students who have completed Level One Health and/or Physical Education. In the absence of these subjects a discussion with Mrs King and the students Level One English results will be taken into consideration for entry into this course.
