Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr R. Hartlebury
This course would be suitable for students considering tertiary study in design technology. The programme uses the design process to create an advanced one off proto-type product of the students own choice. Assessments are presented as reports and a portfolio. This course requires high levels of self motivation and independence as the assessment portfolio is based on each individual students design choices
Recommended Prior Learning
Previous study of Level 1 Product design or DVC at Level 1 would be advantageous.
Equipment/Stationery
An A3 presentation folder, hb, 2b and 4h pencils and a set of coloured pencils are essential for this course. There may be additional costs for materials depending on the students choice of project.
