Level 3 Design and Visual Communication
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr C. Cumming.
Design projects are undertaken. The course offers product design and architectural design. Students are expected to work independently within a self-directed programme supported by the teaching staff. Students produce a design project portfolio of evidence.
Recommended Prior Learning
Previous Level 2 DVC study is essential preparation for this course.
Equipment/Stationery
An A3 clear presentation folder, hb, 2b and 4h pencils and a set of coloured pencils are essential for this course. Access to a home computer with a good quality graphics card is advantageous to this course. There may be additional costs for materials depending on the students choice of project.
