Level 3 Painting

Students start with a common theme from which they generate, explore and develop their own ideas based on the methods and concepts of artist models.  The external folio consists of paintings generated by the internals.  Students are encouraged to develop their own direction, style of media handling and interpretation of subject matter. 

Drawing is used to generate ideas in a wide range of media. With a strong emphasis placed on understanding how to integrate pictorial elements and conventions to create images with a specific purpose in mind.
