Level 3 Technology

13TEC
Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr R. Hartlebury

Recommended Prior Learning

Completion of Level Two Technology and DVC is recommended.

This course would be suitable for students considering tertiary study in design technology. The programme uses the design process to create a one off proto-type product of the students own choice. Assessments are presented as reports and a portfolio in addition to making a prototype of the chosen project. This course requires high levels of self motivation as the projects are selected and developed by the student.

Equipment/Stationery

A blue 2 ring binder, HB, 2B, 4H pencils and a set of coloured pencils are essential items of stationery for this course. A set of Letraset or equivalent felt tip pens are highly recommended.
